Anne Mette brings extensive experience within healthcare to ReD’s consulting practice, and has advised a wide range of clients within the healthcare space, but also within retail, luxury and finance. She brings an analytical and logical mind to our social practices and is passionate about using a deep understanding of the end user’s world and the contexts shaping the business environment to identify growth opportunities. Anne Mette has been instrumental in driving ReD’s healthcare practice by among other things advancing our understanding of digital technology on mental health, examining how COVID has upended people’s relationship with doctors, and redefining what a successful sales force in pharma will resemble in the future.

Before coming to ReD, Anne Mette spent 11 years working for Novo Nordisk focused on developing commercial strategy, creating strong brands and translating strategy into powerful tactics. Anne Mette holds a Master of Science in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School.

 

IAN DULL US

Ian Dull is a lead on ReD’s global technology and mobility practices. With a background in anthropology and design, he helps companies across consumer and medical technology, mobility, and industrials develop strategies and identify new opportunities in emerging social and technological worlds. At ReD, he specializes in long-term innovation projects and translating ethnographic insight into concrete products and experiences. Prior to joining ReD, he applied anthropology and design to the world of architectural heritage at UNESCO. He holds an MPhil in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge and a BA from Yale. 

 
Eliot Salandy Brown USEliot heads ReD Associates’ mobility/automotive practice. Mikkel Krenchel USAs leader of ReD’s technology, communications, and media practice in North America, Mikkel has advised lead executive teams at the world’s largest social media companies, telecom providers and electronics manufacturers. He also has a variety of clients across the finance, energy, and industrials sectors on product development, sales/marketing, M&A and organizational change.As head of ReD’s emerging practice in integrated social science and data science, brings expertise in applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover patterns in our social fabric and drive adoption of new ideas, technologies, and offerings. In particular, Mikkel has spearheaded many business-to-business projects, building the practice of using the human sciences to understand what actually goes on when companies and other groups of individuals make decisions. His work has been published in Wired, Foreign Affairs, and VentureBeat. Mikkel has a degree in Sociology and International Studies from Yale University and is a former national team rower.

For over a decade, Mikkel has helped build ReD’s presence in North America, advising executives while building the firm and the practice of human science in business more broadly. He focuses on how ideas around disruptive technologies shape our lives, for better or worse. In this capacity, he also serves as an advisor and thought partner to leaders at some of the world’s largest social media companies, telecom providers and electronics manufacturers, as well as clients across the finance, energy, and industrials sectors. Mikkel built ReD’s emerging practice in integrated human science and data science, and is deeply interested in all the ways data, AI and human meaning-making collide. His work has been published in Wired, Foreign Affairs, and VentureBeat as well as numerous academic outlets. Born and raised in Denmark, Mikkel holds a degree in Sociology and International Studies from Yale University and is a former Danish national team rower.

Before joining ReD, Millie was a strategy consultant at the New York Economic Development Corporation under the Bloomberg Administration where she developed a portfolio of initiatives to strengthen the resilience of New York City’s economy following the 2008 financial crisis. Based in the Bay Area, Millie Arora is a partner at ReD Associates who specializes in bringing a social science lens to complex regulatory and B2B situations. Her work spans a broad set of clients and industries. She has advised technology companies on how humans relate to algorithms, how people of various generations gather online and on social media, and how social movements share disinformation online. On healthcare, she has helped life sciences companies build a patient-centric agenda including value propositions and patient support programs. In financial services and insurance, she provides clients a more nuanced understanding of people’s complex relationship to money and retirement. 

Prior to becoming partner, Millie was ReD’s COO, with a particular focus on company growth. Before joining the company, she was a strategy consultant at the New York Economic Development Corporation under the Bloomberg Administration where she developed a portfolio of initiatives to strengthen the resilience of New York City’s economy following the 2008 financial crisis. She holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University. She is a widely published author and public speaker on the role of the social sciences to inform business decision-making.
