Folkeskolen: Make Denmark A Pedagogical Laboratory

According to Mikkel B. Rasmussen, co-founder and partner at ReD Associates, the Danish educational system needs to change radically if Denmark is to continue being one of the world’s richest countries. Rasmussen’s company, ReD Associates, is a leading European innovation consultancy that works for companies such as Adidas, Lego, Novo Nordisk, and Samsung.
Rasmussen argues for Denmark to become “a pedagogical laboratory where we carry out research on creating unique educations. There is a need for experiments which can uncover how we may utilize the children’s existing curiosity and search for knowledge to provide them with the skills needed to thrive in the face of global competition.”
